The 70s Show is a retro fun event that will see 3 local bands playing music form the 60s and 70s in an outdoor setting. The audience are encouraged to dress in 70s costume, with a fashion contest being held with prizes form the best-dressed. In addition there will be:
- Audience participation quiz and games
- Great sponsored prizes
- Fun for all ages, alcohol-free
- Museum retro exhibition
- Food/drink stalls on site
The event is all ages and alcohol-free, and runs from 7 – 10pm on Saturday the 17th of February on Perth Street, outside the South Canterbury Museum.
