All sessions are drop in betwwen 10:30 – 11:30 am OR 1.30 – 2.30pm

Monday 6th July Wednesday 8th July | Create a pop-up backyard creature | Make a bird or insect that pops out of their nest and then hides again! |
Monday 13th July Wednesday 15th July | Frame your art | Make a frame for your creature drawing or a photo and decorate it with flowers, leaves or your own decorations |
Other Activities
- Join our Museum Explorers’ Club
- Play Horsey (an old fashioned penny game) – complete a quiz or hire a penny for 50 cents
- Find the Golden Frog and go in the draw to win a prize at the end of the holidays!
- Count the piwakawaka or yellow admiral butterflies hidden around the Museum and go into the prize draw!
- Complete a quiz while exploring the Museum
- Get a closer look at the In Our Backyard; Wildlife photographic art exhibition
- Collect the latest Explorer’s badge
