Biographical Notes

Henry Robert Hunt was the elder son of John Edward and Sarah Jane (née Mayer) Hunt. Harry, as he was known, was educated at Timaru Main School. His brother John Robert Hunt also served with the New Zealand Forces before getting a commission with the Royal Flying Corps. Harry was discharged on 19 May 1991 in England.
