Biographical Notes
George Joss was the son of James and Elizabeth (née Will) Joss. He appears to be at home with his parents and siblings at King Edward, Aberdeenshire, in 1881, but not in 1891 or 1901. He married Annie Peters on 4 July 1914 at Careys Bay (Port Chalmers), Otago, New Zealand. Had he previously married in Scotland? Late in 1917 he was drawn in the Second Ballot for Second Division Class A drafts.
