Biographical Notes
Herbert Edward Baughen was the son of Henry Baughen and his second wife, Mary née Harrison. He was a telegraphist at the Foxton Post Office when he enlisted. His mother died in 1908, his father in 1921, both at Geraldine. Herbert married Beryl Viola Fraser in 1920 at Foxton.
