Biographical Notes

Robert McPherson Grant was the son of Jeannie McPherson Grant. He was possibly broght up by his grandparents (John and Janet/Jessie(?) Grant. His next-of-kin was Agnes Weakley née Grant, probably a sister of Jeannie. Robert was educated at Pleasant Point School, where he gained his Certificate of Proficiency in 1908. Robert married Violet Ellen Graham in 1919. He served in World War II also.
