Biographical Notes

Frederick Timaru Tasker was the son of Frederick William and Helena Augusta (née Scarf) Tasker. He was eduucated at Washdyke, Timaru Main and Timaru South schools. Trooper F. T. Tasker, Timarui, was one of the recruits for the Tenth Reinforcements who left South Canterbury in mid November 1915 for Trentham Camp. Frederick married Ivy Sutton Robertson McCrone in 1922.
