Biographical Notes

Arthur Heath Wingham was the fourth and youngest son of James John and Fanny (née Heath) Wingham. He was educated at Gore School. Arthur was away at the front when his father died in April 1915 at Timaru and his youngest sister, Elsie Ada Eingham, died in June 1915 at Greymouth. His mother died in 1917 at Timaru. Arthur married Henrietta Margaret Jones in 1917. His brother William Wingham also served in World War I.
