Biographical Notes

William Traill Ritchie was the son of John Macfarlane and Ella (née McLaren) Ritchie. He was educated at Wanganui Collegiate. William married Dorothy Cecil Dibbs about 1909 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The name W. T. Ritchie is recorded on the Cave War Memorial, as having served [incorrectly assigned to William Thomas Ritchie, 59052].
