Biographical Notes

Arthur Wugh was the youngest son of Robert and Eliza (née Moray) Waugh. He was educated at Washdyke and Waimataitai schools. He married Margaret Hannah Williamson in 1919. Margaret died in 1925. Arthur next married Clara Alma Johnson. Clara died in 1941. Arthur Waugh was a brother of Alexander Patrick (Forbes) McKay who served with the Australian forces and died in the war.
