Biographical Notes

Thomas Inman King, born on 17 November 1897 at Timaru, was the younger son of Thomas and Jennie Alexandrina (née Stevenson) King. He was educated fist at Washdyke School. At some time he transferred to Australia, probably going there with his father. His mother died in 1895 at Timaru.
