Biographical Notes

George Trezise Williams, born on 8 November 1897 at Timaru, was the son of Cornish parents, George and ann Williams. Young George was baptized in St Mary's Anglican Parish, Timaru..His primary education was at Waimataitai School. George T. Williams was granted a Senior Free Place at the Timaru Technical School by the Department of Education, when the school opened for the 1913 session on 10 March 1913.
