Biographical Notes

Matthew Coffey was the son of Dennis (Denis) and Johanna (Hannah) Coffey. His father died in 1911. In 1920 Matthew married Nora Brosnan who died in 1929; he married secondly Julia. Brother Timothy Coffey was called up for military service.
