Biographical Notes

Eric Victor Glanville was the son of William John and Edith Annie (née May) Glanville, of Pareora East. he was educated at Milford and Pareora West schools.

Eric served with the 37th Reinforcements, Specialists Company in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in World War One. After some training at Featherston Military Camp, he left New Zealand on 16th May 1918. He spent the war in England and was formally discharged on 17th September 1919.

Eric died on 17 July 1980.
