Biographical Notes

Leonard Arthur Stanley Fairbrother was the fourth son of Edmund and Elizabeth (née Smart) Fairbrother. He was educated at Waimataitai School. In 1921 at Timaru he married Ivy Elizabeth Annie Ennis. His brothers Albert William Fairbrother, Charles Stanley and Robert Edmund Fairbrother all served in World War One. .
