Biographical Notes

Frederick Walter Ruscoe was born on 20 March 1888 at Temuka, the youngest son of Henry and Elizabeth (née Cooper) Ruscoe. The family moved to Napier in 1892' Frederick Walter Ruscoe was a brother of Alfred Cooper Ruscoe who was killed in action in 1915 in France and of Herbert Lyttelton Ruscoe who also served in World War One.
