Biographical Notes

Eldred Charles Oldfield was the son of Frederick Richard Oldfield and his wife Frances Mary née Hawke. Eldred attended several schools - Temuka, Seadown, Waimataitai, and back to Temuka. His brother Jack also served in World War One.
