Biographical Notes
Son of Edward and Sarah Jane Ellis nee Holden.
edward arrived in Suez in November 1915 and was sent to France in April 1916. In the field he recieved a gun shot wound to an eye, and admitted to hospital sick and with VD. He was discharged in April 1919.
