Biographical Notes
Hugh married Lily Jane Woonton on 18 April 1928. The couple had a daughter, Joy Woonton Jones born 30 June 1929, before Lily died on 8 January 1941. High went on to marryhis second wife, Helen McGregor in 1951, but she also died only a year later in 1952. Hugh married a third time in 1953 to Jessie Ellen Ellis, who died in 1970.
A family history by Allan & Esme Jones "(John William Bullocky and Elizabeth Anne Jones Second Family Reunion 1863-1992" (1987) includes an account of his life as written by his daughter Joy on p245.
