'Souvenir from France' — A silk embroidered postcard, bearing the message "Souvenir from France", from Andrew Cain, serving in France, to Mary Kelman, dated 20 August 1916.

'Souvenir from France' (verso) — A silk embroidered postcard, bearing the message "Souvenir from France", from Andrew Cain, serving in France, to Mary (May) Kelman, dated 20 August 1916.

Bears a message reassuring May that Andrew was all right and enquired after her sister Sarah and the rest of the family. He also commented that he thought New Zealand must be very quiet with "all the young fellows away".
