Biographical Notes
Francis Cecil Rogers, known as Frank, was the third son of William Henry (Henry) and Margaret Fanny (Fanny, née Bryan) Rogers. It appears that he had a twin brother who is presumed to have died at birth. Frank was educated at Temuka School. Frank married Beatrice Mary King in 1917. Beatrice was his next-of-kin at death. Late in 1917 Mrs H. Rogers, Temuka, received word that her son, Private F. C. Rogers, had been admitted to a hospital in France, suffering from a severely sprained ankle. His brother Arthur David Rogers enlisted for World War I.
