Biographical Notes

Geoffrey Sargood Webster was the second son of Henry Bunting and Clara Wordsworth (née Sargood) Webster. He was educated at Gleniti and Waimataitai schools, Timaru, and privately. He was a warehouseman for Sargood Son & Ewen. Geoffrey married Doris Lilian Duder in 1932 at Devonport. After doris' death he married Winifred Joan McMinn. His brother, Henry Norman Webster also served in World War I, and both Geoffrey and Henry served in World War II.
