Biographical Notes

Alfred Henry Wyatt was the first-born and only son of Alfred Henry and Jane Bruce (Jeannie, née Coram) Wyatt. Young Alfred was educated at Timaru South School. His mother died in January 1917. He married Ivy Eveline Wright on 6 September 1922 at Chalmers Church, Timaru. Sometime after Ivy's death in 1956, he married Doris Ivy, who was next-of-kin at his death. Alfred was a nephew of George Wyatt and Henry Valentine Wyatt, who both enlisted for World War I.
