Biographical Notes

Herbert Spencer King was the third son of William and Elizabeth Harriett (née Evans) King. He was educated at Tahakopa School. Trooper H. S. King was woundeed in action on 7 August 1916. Herbert married Ellenor Jane Shipman in 1919.
