Biographical Notes
Frederick Brydone Lindsay was the third son of Joseph and Mary (née Wright) Lindsay, of Otekura, South Otago. When he enlisted he was a teamster for G. Ruddenklau at Glenavy. Freerick was recorded at Otaio on the 1916 South Canterbury Reserve Roll. In 1917 he was called up. Two brothers, Edwin James Lindsay and Joseph Whyte Lindsay, also served in World War I. .
