Biographical Notes
Timothy Joseph Foley, known as Ted, was the son of John and Hanorah Michaela (Norah, née Leonard). He was a farm hand at Douglas Settlement when he was called up in 1917. His brother, Michael Vincent Foley, who served with the Australian Forces, died in 1915 at Gallipoli. Timothy married Helen (Ellen, Nell) Hunter in 1921.
