Biographical Notes

James McNicol Fisher was the second son of John Alexander and Elizabeth Margaret (née Dunford). He married Elizabeth Sarah Douglas on 20 June 1923 at Temuka. His brothers, Albert William Fisher and George Duncan Fisher, also served in World War I, as did his uncles - Charles Christopher Dunford and Edward Samuel Dunford.
