Biographical Notes
Alfred Frederick Savage was the son of Frederick and Annie Savage. He attended a number of schools - Pukeuri, St Andrews, Esk Valley, Lyalldale, Springbrook, Sutherlands. A. F. Savage embarked at Liverpool for the return to New Zealand per the “Tahiti”. draft no. 204, carrying 950 soldiers, reached Port Chalmers on 12 January 1919.
