Biographical Notes

Arthur Ernest Watts was the son of David and Charlotte Watts. His father died in 1901 and his mother in 1923, both buries in the Waimate Cemetery. Arthur was drawn in the 7th ballot in 1917, but he had been discharged on 15 February 1915 as medically unfit.
