Biographical Notes

Frederick Stumbles was the fifth son of John and Harriet (née Coleman) Stumbles. In 1920 at Ashburton, he married Jane Anne McIntyre McCormick who predeceased him and is buried in a McCormick plot at Pleasant Point. His youngest brother albert, was killed in action in 1917 at Ypres, Belgium.
