Biographical Notes

William Parker was the son of William and Mary Parker, of Timaru. He was educated at Waimataitai School, Timaru Main School after a spell at the Christian Brothers School (where?), and from Main to the Industrial School. His father died in 1915. At the time of his death he was residing at Tokanui, Southland. Is William Parker, 15957, the W. Parker recorded on the Cave Memorial Wall as having served?
