Biographical Notes
Percy Watts Rule was the son of Alexander Pettigrew and Jane Jenkins (née Clarke) Rule. He was educated at Timaru Main School. His father died in January 1919. His brother Cyril Rainsford served in World War I. Percy married Kathleen Ann Wheeler in 1914.
