Biographical Notes

Horace Algernon Rayner was the son of William Thomas and Harriet Edith (née Goddard) Rayner. Horace married Annie Watkins on 25 September 1914 at Pleasant Point. Their daughter, Iris Muriel, was born on 31 July 1916 at Pleasant Point, and their son, douglas Francis, on 19 August 1917 at Pleasnt Point. His brothers, Alfred Harman Rayner and herbert Wellesley rayner, both served in World War I.
