Biographical Notes

Henry George Cain was the son of James and Emily Jane (née Dabies) Cain. Harry was educated at Temuka School. On 20 July 1916 he married Alice Marianne Bottle, who died at 100 years of age. He was a brother of Allan Cain, and a cousin of Andrew, Gordon and William Cain, who all served in World War One.
