Biographical Notes
Francis McCrossan, who enlisted as Frank was the son of James and Elizabeth Mary (née Welsh) McCROSSAN. His brother John died of wounds in 1918 in France, and another brother, Ernest Owen, also served in World War One, Frank and Ernest embarking together.
