BODDYE, Walter Patrick
(Service number 43202)
The portrait was owned by the family of Michael and Mary Ann O'Reilly of Albury.
The soldier appears to be wearing a farrier's badge on his sleeves and a Mounted rifles Reinforcements badge on his slouch cap and collars - which all tallies with Boddye's service records. (South Canterbury Museum 2018/078.05)
