Biographical Notes

Robert Moore was the son of John and Mary Ann Moore of Temuka, and a brother of George Moore who was killed in action in 1915, and of William John Moore who served in the South African War and World War One, and Cecil James Moore who served in World War One. No personnel file for service number 47165 is recorded at Archives NZ. The first entry for number 74485 is a record of this man. Note that service number 47165 is one digit different from that of his brother Cecil.
