Biographical Notes

Jeremiah Geaney was the son of Humphrey and Catherine (née O'Brien) Geaney. Brother of Daniel Patrick Geaney. The family came to New Zealand about 1885. Prior to that Jeremiah was educated ain Victoria, Australia. Here he attended Fairview School and the Timaru Catholic School.
