Biographical Notes
Isabella SCOTT was the daughter of Lewis SCOTT and Ann (nee ADAMS). She married Ernest William BURCH on 21 October 1920, at the Regent Square Presbyterian Church, London, England. When leaving for war service, Isabella advised that her Will was lodged with the Bank of N. S. Wales in London, and that her brother Alexander SCOTT, was the executor. She returned to New Zealand by the "Athenic", embarking at Liverpool on 3 February 1919. On her return to New Zealand, Isabella was matron of the Returned Soldiers Hospital at Timaru for a year or so.
