Biographical Notes
Son of Frederick and Elizabeth Prattley. Husband of Catherine Violet Prattley, of 3 Miller Street, St. Kilda, Dunedin. The Auckland Museum Library manuscripts collection contains a printed souvenir (MS 2004/40) describing the voyage of troopship no. 25 ex R.M.S. Tahiti from Wellington, New Zealand, that appears to belong to Sergeant H.J. [Horace James] Prattley.
