Biographical Notes

Son of John & Catherine (nee TAIT) Hamilton, of John Street, Temuka. He left for camp on 25 June 1917. Brother of John HAMILTON & Michael HAMILTON both killed in action, before so Joseph Daniel was admitted to hospital in France with a gunshot wound to left eye & cheek. Welcomed home at Temuka early March 1919.
