Biographical Notes

Jack Judson was born on 28 September 1895 at Temuka, the elder son of George and Ellen Amelia (Nellie, née Radford) Judson. Jack was educated at Temuka School. J. Judson was one of four infantry non-commissioned officers who left Timaru on 23 August 1916 with the 20th Reinforcements draft to go into training for the Twenty-second Reinforcements. Jack married Dorothy Agnes Hendy in 1920.
