Biographical Notes

Allan Rowland Booker who was born on 31 September 1893 at Orari, was the third son of James Booker and Charlotte Susan née Wyatt who had married in 1881 at Temuka. He married Florence Madge Bailey in 1917. Allan died on 17 May 1971 at Christchurch. His oldest brother, William George Booker, also served in World War I, and another brother, Francis James Booker enlisted.
