Biographical Notes

Paul Hugh Stevenson was born on 19 March 1889 at Dunedin, the youngest son of James and Jane (Jean, née Buchanan) Stevenson. He was educated for some years at Duntroon School. Sergeant P. H. Stevenson, 28943, of Temuka, returned to New Zealand per the “Arawa” (Draft No. 244), reaching Lyttelton about 12 May 1919. He married Winifred Edith Hemings in 1922.
