Biographical Notes

Thomas William Dowthwaite was the son of Elizabeth Louisa (Lizzie, née Skevington) Dowthwaite. He was probably educated at Waimate. His brother Samuel Joseph Dowthwaite also served in World War I. Thomas married Agnes Henderson in 1924.
