Biographical Notes

William Alexander Ross was the youngest son of Donald and Fanny Grace (née Mundy) Ross. His mother died in 1885, aged 27 years, when William was just an infant. William was educated at Gleniti School. He was a ploughman at Levels when he was called up in 1917.
