Biographical Notes

Peter Hunter Cochrane was the second son of Scottish born Michael and Mary Ann (née Hunter) Cochrane, and the first of their family to be born in New Zealand. His older brother, Michael, was called up but did not serve. Peter married Emma Priscilla Remnant in 1919.
