Biographical Notes

David Blues Joe was the second son of James and Mary (née Serpless or Surplus) Joe. David married Emily Fenn on 23 June 1906 at Geraldine. Their son, Leslie John Jow, was born on 9 November 1909 at Geraldine. David was called up in 1918. His brother, John Joe, served overseas in World War I.
