Biographical Notes

George Duncan Fisher was the oldest son of John Alexander and Elizabeth Margaret (née Dunford). His brothers, Albert William Fisher and James McNicol Fisher, also served in World War I, as did his uncles - Charles Christopher Dunford and Edward Samuel Dunford.
