Biographical Notes

Malcolm McColl was the older son of John Livingstone and Lucy Finetta (née Dyson) McColl. He attended several South Canterbury schools - Kakahu, Clandeboye, Orton, Hilton and Geraldine. Malcom returned to Geraldine with Draft 187 which brought a large number of soldiers home in early October 1918. Malcolm married Znnie Christina Bell in 1919.
